Meet the Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides movie. This is the highest budget and the most expensive film in the world’s film industry till today!!! Can you guess how much it costs? Hmm.. $100 million dollars??…$200???…300$???? Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides movie costs around $379 million, the film currently is the most expensive film ever made in the world.

This film’s pre-production was started with the Actor Jhonny Depp, collaborating with the writers on the story design after the end of the 2007â2008 Writers Guild of America strike (Protest for increase the funding for writers in American Film & TV industry). Its Principal photography lasted for 106 days between June and November 2010 in the location of Hawaii, the United Kingdom, Puerto Rico, and California. Filming was employed by 3D cameras that are similar to those used in the production of the 2009 film Avatar. Ten companies were involved with this film for visual effects.
This film was made based on the concept of On Stranger Tides
by Tim Powers; production by Walt Disney Pictures, Jerry Bruckheimer Films, Original Film; Distributed by Walt Disney Studios & Motion Pictures. The main reason behind it being the most expensive film was the inflation production costs which fired the net budget to $379 million. However, though it was the most expensive film in the world, its revenue/income wasn’t bad, clocked to rocking $1.046 billion!!!
